August Floods: Long-Term Recovery Group - Greater Milwaukee Community Recovery & Resilience

You’re invited to join a growing group of organizations working to support community recovery following the historic floods this August.

Meeting Details:

  • Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025
  • Time: 4:00 – 6:00 PM
  • Location: Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) – Milwaukee Building, located at 1027 W. St. Paul Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53233 – Harbor Room
  • Registration: Registration is not required. In-person attendance is encouraged. To request a virtual meeting link, contact gannon.gann@widma.gov. 

This meeting is for organizations and individuals with an interest in learning more about how to participate in Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) efforts from the August floods. Topics we’ll cover include:

  • August Flooding Impact and Current Status
  • Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) Organization & Stakeholders
  • LTRG functions, committees, and governance
  • Call to Action / Subcommittees
  • Discussion of future meetings
  • Network & committee connections
