Southeast Wisconsin Homeland Security Partnership

About Us

Southeast Wisconsin Homeland Security Partnership (SWHSP) is a forum for public and private sector organizations to share information and engage in training and joint-planning for the purpose of increasing both organizational and regional disaster preparedness.

Our History

SWHSP was founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in September 2004. It is the successor to the Milwaukee County Regional Homeland Security Partnership that was formed in 2003 in recognition of a post-9/11 need to provide awareness and preparedness between the various levels of government as well as the public and private sectors. Today, SWHSP continues to unite organizations and agencies working in collaboration to increase our region's disaster resiliency.
