This is an intermediate-level course designed to provide a set of guiding principles, standardized methodology, available resources and practical skill development, which will assist in developing an HSEEP consistent exercise program. This course describes a common approach to exercise program management, design and development, conduct, evaluation, and improvement planning.&lt;br&gt;

The target audience for this training are those involved in planning, program management, design and development, conduct, evaluation, and improvement planning of HSEEP consistent exercises.&lt;br&gt;

Understand the role of HSEEP in National Preparedness, and how HSEEP exercise principles and methodology support efforts across the whole community to improve our national capacity to build, sustain, and deliver core capabilities.&lt;br&gt;

      <title>ICS-400 Advanced Incident Command System (ICS) (6 Oct 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 15px;"&gt;Waukesha County is hosting an ICS-400 Advanced ICS course presented by TEEX on October 6&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; and 7&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt;, at the Waukesha County EOC.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;font style="font-size: 15px;"&gt;ICS-400 prepares public safety and incident management personnel to operate within the Incident Command System in major or complex incidents and introduces participants to the concept of Area Command for Type 1 &amp;amp; 2 incidents. ICS-400 is also a prerequisite for many other valuable courses, such as Command &amp;amp; General Staff and Position-Specific incident management courses. &lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:black"&gt;Racine County is hosting a &lt;strong&gt;G205 Recovery from Disaster course presented by WEM on October 6 and 7 at Aurora Mount Pleasant&lt;/strong&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:black"&gt;This course covers foundational concepts in disaster recovery and the latest guidance on recovery planning. Participants will either assess their own recovery plan or a sample against this national planning guidance.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:black"&gt;Following that, participants will discuss how a disaster recovery effort can be organized, managed, and led along with the types of challenges faced by recovery managers. Scenario activities throughout the course give participants the opportunity to target information strategies, and address local capabilities and challenges. They will also analyze lessons learned from Joplin, Missouri.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;font&gt;This course prepares state and local response personnel and other responsible agencies and professionals to handle mass fatalities effectively and to work with the survivors in an emergency or disaster.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;This course covers incident management; mass fatalities; planning before and operations during an incident; establishing the morgue; family assistance support operations; and assistance from the Federal government. The course concludes with a tabletop exercise.&lt;br&gt;
Participants will learn to identify the characteristics of a mass fatality incident and identify the roles and responsibilities of key personnel in the incident. In addition, the instructor will describe the steps required to respond to a mass fatalities incident, including catastrophic numbers of fatalities and contaminated remains, and help participants determine their jurisdiction’s preparedness for a mass fatalities event.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;&lt;font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;
